On the sidelines of the 79th World Health Assembly, this high-level breakfast meeting will bring together Ministers of Health, senior government officials from endemic countries, partners, advocates, and public health experts to accelerate elimination of malaria and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). Building on the 2025 Call for Action on cross-border collaboration, the event will showcase strong political commitment, share best practices, and outline practical steps for integrated, multi-disease efforts amid declining funding—emphasizing resilient health systems and coordinated cross-border approaches. The meeting may also mark the endorsement of a cross-border collaboration MoU, pending national approvals.
